Are face masks rquired?
Yes, face masks will be required to be worn at all times for everyone age 2 and up. Exceptions to this rule include people with medical conditions or disabilities that prevent them from safely wearing a face covering.
Are ELC and Children’s Circle open?

Will Kids Club be held in the fall?
Yes, both AM and PM Kids Club will be running. More information about the 2020-21 school year can be found HERE.

Will the Park District offer care to students remote learning?
The Park District’s Kids Club has been modified to adapt to District 35’s plans and able to help families that need care. The Glencoe Park District is creating a recreation-based enrichment camp, while facilitating self-directed learners.
This program will offer half-day sessions, with options to bridge between Kids Club AM, District 35 in-person learning, and Kids Club PM. This program will run five days a week.
Kids Club Enrichment Camp will be held at Watts Center for South School students and the Takiff Center for West and Central School students. The monthly cost of Kids Club Morning or Afternoon Enrichment Camp will be $500 and will be billed monthly. To register, use this form: Kids Club Enrichment Camp Registration Form
Will transportation be available to District 35 schools for those in Kids Club?
Yes, our staff will work with District 35 regarding transportation. Additional details will be shared as the start of school draws closer.
Will your Last Minute Care program still be available this school year?
Yes, however families may only utilize this service 10 times a school year.
What happens if COVID restrictions change?
All classes offered include a plan of what will happen if the state moves to a different phase of Restore Illinois plan. Examples include moving the program outside, to a larger room, hosting the class online, or if the class will be canceled and a refund issued. Information is available in every class description.
Will youth sports classes be offered? What about theatre and dance programs?
Most of the sports, theater, and some dance classes will likely be offered outside with the ability to go indoors in inclement weather.
How will adult fitness classes work?
Adult fitness registration will likely be offered each month. Classes will be held outside if possible and brought indoors if the weather is poor.
What is the plan for adult art classes?
Most programs will be held virtually with a few in-person classes offered.
